EVENTions was established first, as an event management company, producing major events such as the 1998 New Product Introduction for Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift and Duke Power’s Holiday Party.  Our process is first, to establish a client’s goals and expectations, then using our experience and resources, we collaborate with the client on the design and management of the project, doing SWOT and risk analyses as required. As we plan the event, we keep in touch with the client, offering renderings, schedules, timelines, and ground plans to ensure all the important aspects of a project are communicated clearly. As the event approaches, we make contingency plans for any potential problems, and a clear, thorough production plan to ensure troublefree setup, execution, and strike of the event.

The services we represent include décor/environment design, lighting/sound/audio visual, entertainment, catering, tenting/HVAC/flooring, printing, database management, special effects, presentation design, technical direction, and more.

EVENTions has a policy of not representing just a single service. We believe our value comes in bringing coordination and synergy to the efforts of larger events with multiple vendors.

Sales Conferences/Meetings:  
EVENTions added meeting management in 2000 as a natural outgrowth of our planning ability and experience.  Among our many credits includes producing the national sales meetings for Bertek Pharmaceuticals and the two Citizens' Congresses for Blueprint Houston.

As a meeting planner/producer, we contract and manage all the services required to execute a given meeting, including site selection, audio visual services, pre- and on-site registration, food service, hotel accommodations, audience response services, translation services, and even presenter coaching.

Some of our special accomplishments include:
- producing Bertek's most successful National Sales Conferences ever
- stepping in six weeks out and producing a flawless public meeting for Blueprint Houston, achieving all the goals set including attracting 1000 participants

Incentive Travel:
EVENTions has an excellent record in achieving the exclusivity and the lifelong memorable experiences that companies look for in their incentive trips. We rely on current information about what sites are hot, have the best values, and contain the best experiences (day trips, adventure trips, scenic attractions, …). Once a destination is selected, EVENTions employs extensive research, our international network of event professionals, creativity, pre-planning, and attention to detail to ensure the very best outcomes are achieved. Our service is elevated by our in-house graphics capability, video production partners, and printing knowledge to build the contest excitement and anticipation of the trip.

Public Events (see also Event Marketing):
When a company desires strong community exposure and a public relations channel, sponsoring a public event can be an incredible vehicle. EVENTions will provide the consultation and research necessary to evaluate the feasibility of the company’s goals; make approaches to potential commercial, non-profit, and community partners; and develop a budget. Then we can provide sponsorship package design and solicitation, media trades negotiation, and event management to bring the event to fruition. We can also operate a steering committee if required, involving a company’s public relations department or firm; the benefactor; and other civic entities.

EVENTions is uniquely experienced in developing public events with municipal/non-profit entities and underwriters or sponsors.  Our credits include the Health & Fitness Expo (eight years), Holiday Lights in Hermann Park (three years), The Diocese Of Houston-Galveston's Eucharistic Congress, and Blueprint Houston's Citizens' Congress.

Theme Parties (see also Event Management):
Theme parties require an expertise in décor to create an environment, strong resources in entertainment, and an ability to maximize a budget.  EVENTions has a particular expertise by virtue of our staff experience operating a decorating company and experience in New Orleans and Washington, DC, plus our total design ability.

Our credits include twenty-one H-E-B openings, an outing for Continental Airlines General Managers, and a Spy Party at the Intl. Spy Museum in Washington, DC.

Seamless registration is one of the keys to a successful conference, and probably the most under-appreciated element.  It requires understandable registration materials, accurate input, proper staffing, and flexible use of the results.

EVENTions offers a thorough, professional, and modern service.  We can provide assistance with designing and printing registration materials.  We can accommodate a range of inputs: through a dedicated web site, data import, email, fax, or phone.  Using the input, we develop a comprehensive database for tracking responses, preparing customized name badges, and developing reports for immediate and future use.  

On-site, EVENTions organizes badge printing and distribution, check-in, and preparation of registration packets, and provides friendly, professional on-site staff to make this important part of the attendee's experience trouble-free.

Among others, EVENTions has handled the registration for Blueprint Houston and Bertek Pharmaceuticals.

Graphic Reproduction:
With today's technology and branding emphasis, it is expected that an organization's events will feature high quality logos, branding statements, and other marketing messages.  Using modern graphic software, printing knowledge, and vendor relationships, EVENTions has the ability to design and specify professional indoor and outdoor signage, as well as flyers, luggage tags, and email graphics.
